There is a new bill in Congress called the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) that would rock the Internet â€“ and not in a good way.
The initial intent of the bill sounds okayâ€¦stop illegal sharing of music, movies and games. Unfortunately it could also stop the sharing of content on sites like Facebook and Twitter.
On top of that, SOPA makes websites and blogs liable for copyright infringement that occurs among its users.
Marketing Sherpa just released this chart on the marketing effectiveness a various SEO efforts. Although their reports are written for B2B, we can use the same information for Business to Consumer (B2C).
Some of the results are a little surprising – let’s take a look at what is perceived vs the reality of SEO.

Awhile back I wrote a blog post about content scrapers. Now Iâ€™ve come across a cool tool for tracking the scrapers and getting a link back from them (for what itâ€™s worth).
