The algorithm changes were actually beneficial to me with one exception, the articles I had placed on larger article directories. These all tanked, currently running at around 50% of previous traffic levels.

My own sites, including my article directory http://www.thisisfreelance.com, are all doiing great.

THe fact that my own article directory is rising and other article directories are dropping does interest me though, and the only conclusion I can draw to explain this is that poor quality and duplicate content is now worth significantly less that the lip service it was given before.

I agree with this article – this is how websites should be built. A site should essentially hold valuable and useful content for the end user. The concept’s a no brainer – content content content.
