SEO has proven to be an effective tool in achieving a number of important marketing objectives, making it a universally-beneficial marketing tactic for a wide variety of organizations, regardless of their objectives.

B2C organizations are the most likely to perceive SEO as an effective tactic in achieving an increase in lead generation and online sales revenue. This is an indication that these types of organizations are more efficient in closed-loop tracking from website visitor source to leads and online sales revenue generated.

If your seo isn’t increasing your traffic, then it’s not real seo! My guess is that the 39% that didn’t see an increase in traffic weren’t doing “real” seo.

Yes. only thing is it is tedious. But SEO is indeed a helpful, especially compared to PPC and other form of adverting. Another good thing is, People trust organically ranked sites more than those placed in sidebar. Trust factor is also important as far as conversion is concerned.
We all know that Twitter links are NoFollow and that until recently most SEOs have agreed that Twitter activity wasn’ta ranking factor.

Yap SEO is very important but we can not ignore PPC. PPC is the only way to generate reasonalbe amount of traffic at initial stages of any project and this traffic is also beneficial to rank up in SERP.

I think that off-page SEO is more effective than on-page SEO, because it is able to inform the Internet sources as well as your target audience about your website.
For me personally, I can’t get SEO to improve my business. It seems that whatever I do, there is no increase in traffic. I find that unless you are on the 1st page, you get pretty much nothing.
