ad rate calculator Dazzlin Donna is awesome!

Have you ever wondered how much you can reasonably charge for a 125×125 button ad at the side of your blog? I’ve never had a clue how much I should charge, but fortunately Donna created this calculator based on monthly page views:

125×125 Ad Rate Calculator

So now, when the advertisers clamor for a button ad on your site, you’ll know just how much you can charge!

    Oh this is just TOO cool! I grabbed the code and am wondering 2 things…

    Is there a particular “best” place on a blog to install it?

    Will it produce a pop-up like here?

    @Dennis – yes, the code is set up to produce the pop-up. Mine is on the sidebar.

    That’s a very nice little tool. It’ll also be helpful to be able to refer advertisers to it so they know that there’s a basis behind the amount being charged.

    I see, so the pop up will occur wherever the code is placed, cool.

    Another neat idea. However being a real estate blog I want to keep it very related and without a lot of stuff. Am I wrong for the type of blog I have?

    Thank you for sharing this tool. How will it effect CPM’s off of 100,000 impressions.

    This is a nice little tool. It gives you a start at how you can charge for your ads; although if you have a high-traffic volume site you may want to consider having a flat rate so you are constantly making money.

    @Small Business – you’re right about that.

    @Dennis – yeah, it’s great how Donna made it available for others to use.

    @John – :)

    @Eric – probably, but you can always come over to the Diva and use mine ;)

    @Justin – I’m not sure. Once you get that many you can probably name your price!

    @channell makrketing – right, at least it gives a start…mine came out lower than what I would have liked though.
