Bad Behavior Has Been Misbehaving
I’ve had issues with it before, but it turns out the plugin "Bad Behavior" is what was causing my problem with The Gobbledy Goop at the Top of the Page."
As soon as I deactivated it the weird code disappeared and my blog is pretty once again. 
Thanks to all of you who made suggestions on how to fix this. Since Glossy Business Cards was the first to suggest that it was a plugin, as promised I have awarded the text link prize under "Recommended."
WordPress always has some serious problems with many plug-ins. Another trouble is rapidly increasing upgrades. 2.6.1 was still not installed and we have 2.6.2. Someday i shall leave wordpress for the same reason.

Bad Behavior is a bad plugin. I agree with you. I dont fancy using it much.

@ Captain Falcon – according to the plugin it blocked a lot of bad stuff, but who knows…I won’t use it again.

I am not a big fan of this plugin in like Captain Falcon. I hope they fix it completely.
We deny that one of us we have a bad behavior but actually we know that is not good. They said, no man is perfect!
I too am leary of WordPress upgrades and a few plug ins. I have used Joomla and like it, but it semes to have its limits too.
