    I am desperate to avail this opportunity(I think that I am not alone) but your link is not working. I think offer has been expired, is it?

    @New Age - I’m very sorry the link was broken. I’ve fixed it, so you should be able to go claim your free domain name now.

    Thanks. Any kind of free domain is great, even worth a little hassle of signing up for some stuff. As long as you don’t have to give any cc numbers and then cancel later. I always appreciate good deals posts :-)

    About 6 months ago, I used GoDaddy while they were offering something similar. They provided me with a free domain, (which I haven’t utilized yet) but not at 15% off. :-( Maybe I should’ve waited ey? :-)

    So it’s free for the first bill, but how much is each additional payment going to cost?

    GoDaddy is always so good in such offers. I have shifted many of my sites to GoDaddy and still shifting. Probably I shall be registering my domain from GoDaddy as well.

    @Kimberly - you can always find GoDaddy discounts at dealtaker.com. I never pay full price (well, except for renewals).

    @Utah - the joy of the whole thing is you can cancel your subscription to the spam!

    @xBrain - I try to post deals when I come across them - be sure to subscribe to my feed.

    @Melayu - you betcha I’m a girl ;)

    @Arne - they do have good offers. It’s worth checking their site once in awhile to find out what they have. Also, if you call in an order, the reps often have deals available that are not on the site.

    Free domains that are really free are rare offers - even though I have too many domains at the moment had I been in time I would have grabbed one ;)

    Another option for free domains is that some hosts offer them with hosting packages. Sure its not worth changing your host for a free domain name, but if you are new and needing a host anyway its an option. Beware of high renewal costs though.

    Domains are pretty cheap to obtain though.
    Always do a search for your favorite registrar along with “discount coupon” before purchase - most registrars offer discount codes and you can still pick up a .com for as low as 7.00 and .info for under a dollar sometimes.

    Remember you don’t need a lot of domains to start out though,(although they can make a great investment) a good domain with appropriately named sub domains is just as effective.
