How many people really pay for listings in directories? Is it really worthwhile?

@Mike - I buy some paid listings in directories for every client, as well as for my own sites. The key is to use directories that are well respected by Google, and BOTW is one of these.

@Dennis - there’s a lot of confusion about paid directories. It’s always good to register with a few of the trusted ones.
Finding or figuring out which are the trusted is the trick.

I’ve never paid to be in one before but i know that lots of larger sites are in BOTW so I assume Google sees them as a place to find sites thats are serious as you wouldnt pay unless you were serious about your site.
