If you run Google AdSense ads on your blog or web site, you need to be aware that on March 3rd, Google made a change in their Google AdSense webmaster terms, requiring all publishers to have a Privacy Policy on web sites that display AdSense ads.
In Section 1
You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.
So what are you supposed to put in this privacy policy? The Privacy Policy generator was made specifically to address this Adsense requirement, and it makes it super easy for you to generate one, complete with your domain name in the appropriate spots. Thanks to SerpRate.com for making this available.
Alternatively, for Wordpress blogs this Privacy Policy plugin will do the job for you. Thanks to Eric at Synclastic for creating it.

I’m not sure this is widely known. I know I stumble alot of blogs and nobody is talking about this right now.
I’m going to have to look into this and spread the word.
I’ve also stumbled this post to help get the word out.
Thanks
Thanks for the info…if it weren’t for blogs, I would never know any of these new rules. I never ever read the fine print (bad habit) Anyway… looks like its time to get a few privacy policy’s up.
Good spot! I hadn’t heard anything about this. Thanks so much.
unTECHy - I found out through a BANS blog. Thanks for stumbling it!
James - Thing is, most of us don’t read the fine print.
Chadwyck - You’e welcome!
