Social Media Mogul Poll

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Have you LinkedIn, Facebooked, Ninged, Twittered, Zimbio’d and Squidoo’d?  Is Craigslist a personal friend, do you check Feedburner hourly and Plaxo daily?

There are so many social network sites, so many ways to tweet and twitter about your blog, site, or product. It’s really hard to get it with some of them, much less keep up with them all. So eventually it’s time to choose the ones you do get, that seem to bring in the traffic, and importantly, that you enjoy.

What works best for you?

    SEO Diva,

Currently, Squidoo is my favorite social media outlet. Although, I have been spending quite a bit of time at realestatewebmasters. They recently got tagged with a Google penalty, but they will be back in rankings very soon.

Too many generic social networks…that’s why I went niche ;)

Ryan, I like Squidoo too. It’s fun to use, and I find it pulls sites up in the rankings.

Matt, I agree, niches are the way to go if you can find one in your industry.

SEO Diva - I think Squidoo is GREAT.

That lens that I made for Mt Baker 2 weeks ago has already been found 10 times in Google & twice in MSN resulting in 7 direct hits to my targeted “homes for sale” page on my website. That is great traffic considering that I only spent 30 minutes on the lens.

I just created another lens about disc golf in Bellingham.

I’ve been on LinkedIn for over 5 years now, and have noticed the popularity surge greatly this past 18 months.

    Thanks!

    John
