Get the feed URL for your blog. Often the URL will simply be http://myblogname.com/feed.
Using 2RSS, the first in the list, as an example, especially since it can be a little more complicated if you have an atom feed - click on the link that tells you how to convert an atom feed. Take that link and enter it, choose a category and a description of your blog, and enter. It’s that simple. They will start pinging your blog and your new postings will be syndicated throughout the Internet. The more the merrier, so work your way down the list and add your blog to each of them.

People read feeds in different categories. I get feeds related to keywords like SEO, and if it’s a blog I enjoy I subscribe to it so I get a feed every time new content is added.

I appreciate your list! I saw it posted first on Active Rain and immediately posted my blog on all the sites. (It didn’t take very long!) That was just the day before yesterday. Yesterday I did a keyword search on Google or Yahoo, and found my most recent post on one of these sites, just hours after I “pinged” it!!!
I have to thank you sooo much, because several months ago I had no Idea what SEO, Blog, or Ping meant!
