Google Trends can be a great resource for promoting your web site through your blog. For example, if your product is fashion or shoes, today you would jump on the “on fire” topic of the day, the new Nike Air Native N7 shoe.
Of course you won’t be able to incorporate the hot topic every single day, but when something works with your site, grab it and go for it. Feeds work so rapidly that your blog entry could show up on Google within hours of publication.
